John M. Cordes, founding principal, has been responsible for leading teams of professionals in the identification, and execution of acquisitions and power plant development for 30 years. Mr. Cordes’s growth and investment experience includes participation in over a hundred bids in more than a dozen different countries in electric distribution as well as various generation technologies including natural gas, coal and renewable energy including concentrated and PV solar and hydroelectric. Previously, he served as Vice President Development, Latin America for PPL Global and PSEG Americas and Managing Director, Portfolio Execution for TransAlta Corporation where he was responsible for identification and closure of over $2B US in successful equity investments. Mr. Cordes holds a degree in Business Administration, Civil Engineering from Syracuse University and is a graduate of the University of Calgary’s Haskayne School of Business Management Essentials Program.
